To attain registration, an agency must fulfill specific prerequisites, including undergoing approved training, securing a substantial bank guarantee, and maintaining active liability insurance valid throughout the European Union.

For estate agents with a physical office, the bank guarantee requirement is €60,000, while brokers without a physical address must provide a bank guarantee of €300,000 per business year. Liability insurance for agents with a physical office must extend up to €600,000 (with a maximum of €150,000 per customer). Conversely, agents without a physical office are obliged to maintain insurance coverage of one million euros (with a maximum of €150,000 per customer).

It is mandatory for the broker to readily provide information about their registration status, bank guarantee, and insurance to clients.
